10 Barrel Brewing Co. // Pray for Snow Winter Ale (American Strong Ale) // Bend, OR 7.60% ABV // IBU 37
Color: Beautiful Ruby Brown! The head is a creamy with a parchment paper tone.
Smell: Fruity, malty, and a tiny whiff of pine.
Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation. Smooth but not too full.
Taste: Main notes- malt, berries, and caramel. Hops are only present in the back of the throat. Rich flavors take over in the beginning of the profile then ends with a light, hops/espresso bitterness.
Overall: Like roasted, candied dark fruits... is that a thing? It should be. And in case anyone was wondering, I was absolutely praying for snow whilst drinking this ale.
